It seems that ever since I was a child, I knew I would be a writer! I love having the ability to put my thoughts into words on paper for others to enjoy. My writing consists of novels, short stories, essays, and poetry. I'm currently working on two novels, and a couple short stories.

Other writers have always been my inspiration. Growing up an avid reader, I still believe today, that you can't be a writer if you're not a reader. My inspiration for the Enchantment Series was a quaint little Victorian town in Pennsylvania near where I used to have vacation property. The fictitious town of Enchantment in my book is based on the real town of Franklin, PA, in Northwestern Pennsylvania, and the log cabin in the mountains is based on the little town of Tidioute, Pennsylvania. The characters in this series walk in the same settings where I used to walk, so it's all from real places!

In 1991 I received my Associate of Arts degree in Human Services. Then, later I had post-secondary classes in creative writing and photography, just for fun. Photography is a hobby, and writing is, and forever will be my "warm fuzzy." Spring 2008, I will be teaching a Creative Writing for Beginners class at a local college.
